Mixology is a professional engineer/producer
with SlapSide Entertainment. In this role, he looks after, coordinates,
manages, and leads his team, providing assistance in all aspects of creating
good music.
What once started out as a hobby in high school, in the midst of “rapping just
for fun”, soon after, developed into a passion of excellence in writing,
producing, and mixing various genres of music. His humble beginnings and love
for music has already brought him to a certain level of success. The
determination set forth, accompanied by the perseverance of believing in
himself has allowed him to act out upon his greatest desires, which is to
create a well-balanced musical sound for audiences to enjoy.
Mixology is no stranger to the music industry, having spent nearly 6 years as a
producer and an emcee, which taught him the importance of hard work,
dedication, networking, and honing his skills to improve every aspect of his
life. His keen ear for music enables him to mix and master tracks that provide
a unique sound, appealing to a wider spectrum of listeners. During these years
he has spent a great deal of time being involved in, and learning as much about
music production and the business aspects of it.
Rap artist and Songwriter Merge20, has actively been involved in making music since the age of 12. His middle-school years were perhaps the most influential, in which he spent most of his afternoons practicing how to write rap lyrics. Countless trips to the record store purchasing the latest bay area rap albums represent only a portion of his deepest desire to act upon his true passion for music.
Bay area rap groups such as RBL Posse, GLP, Dre
Dog, 11-5, JT The Bigga Figga, X-Raided, C-Bo, Marvaless, Spice-1, and many
others were some of his favorites.
Perhaps the most memorable
experience for him was when Dave (the owner of Music World), would advice him
on the latest albums that were out. He quotes “I vividly remember riding my
bike down to Music World to see what grandpa Dave had to offer. Each time I
walked inside that store, it would smell like burning incense, and Dave would
greet me with a big smile. He knew exactly what I was there for, and that was
to buy the new stuff. For those of you who were born and raised in Seaside, CA
you know exactly who I’m talking about” – Merge20
Today,
this dynamic artist continues to hone-in on all of the blessings that the lord
has given him. Music is the lifeblood of his own self-expression. His ambitions
in life involve many, but music is one that stands out at the top of his list.
Asides from being a musician, Merge20 also believes in personal development,
ways in which he can grow as an individual and give back to those who seek the “positive”
things in life.
Introducing Willie Snipa. Born In Lexington Kentucky on February 18, 1985. This young future superstar grew up in Detroit & Georgia. He was brought up in a household in which music was the greatest passion.
William has been rapping since the age of ten. This talented young rapper,
Willie, has been blessing his audiences with his versatile vocals since his
early childhood. He has always been musically inclined. He was constantly
entertaining, and often rapping while in the back seat of his classroom. Some
of his earliest performances took place in during his elementary school years, high
school years, and church.
It was in high school where he showed his peers and teachers that he really
could rap, and his teachers acknowledged that his love for music was more than
a regular hobby. Instead, it was a unique gift. Willie Snipa has been working
hard to get to the spotlight, because rapping is all he wants to do. God has
put William here for a reason, and that's to reach out to people with his
talented ability.
With a young look and nice bars, William has a chance at becoming a star.
William quotes, "I am going to be a star some day. It is all in Gods hands,
and with him I can do all the things he intends for me to do.” With this
determined attitude, William will be successful some day.
